Meteorite World Association (MWA)
Verified means something real. MWA members have had their identity confirmed, agreed to the code of ethics below, and carry an MWA number that buyers can look up. The MWA is open to anyone. It works alongside IMCA, not instead of it, so you can show both numbers.
Code version 2026-1.

Affiliation badges
Show you're a member of IMCA, the Meteoritical Society or the AMS, or that you're a working scientist (the big “S”). Badges only appear after we've checked them. IMCA numbers are matched against IMCA's public member list; the others start with manual sign-off. You can use Meteorite World's badge or upload your own image. Please don't upload the official IMCA or Meteoritical Society logos — those are their trademarks.

Had a bad deal?
Open the seller's profile or listing and use Report → Bad deal. Reports against MWA members go straight to the top of our queue. Meteorite World never handles payments for marketplace sales, so refunds are between buyer and seller. MWA members have agreed to refund misrepresented specimens.
