Offline field pack

Heading out of signal range? Frame the area on the map, then download a data pack and switch on the field cache.

1. Data pack

Your finds (exact), public finds, Meteoritical Bulletin meteorites and fall paths inside the current map view, as GeoJSON + KML + GPX (zip). Other hunters’ gate-shared finds stay on Meteorite World and are not included.

2. Field cache for imagery

We don’t bulk-download satellite tiles — Google’s terms forbid it and the free providers don’t clearly allow mass prefetching. With the field cache on, the free-layer tiles you look at on /maps/ pages while online are kept in this browser (up to ~4000), so the same area still shows offline. Pan and zoom over the hunt area before you go.
